Australian Poetry Slam 2016 Blue Mountains Heats
The Poetry Slam is an exciting, off-beat and not-to-be-missed event to be hosted by last year’s national finalist, Philip Wilcox. In the Slam tradition, poets will battle with words to see who will go forward to the Slam’s State finals later in the year. Be in the audience and you might be chosen as one of our random judges or, if you have something to say, perform your own poem by simply registering on the night. Poems must be the performer’s own original work and no longer than 2 minutes. This contest continues to grow in excitement and talent every year so, get set to enjoy the best local talent and be prepared for a few surprises.
